dr. anna maria paini, who works at the university of verona, gave an insight into the (vanishing) know-how of plaited mats made of pandanus (ixoe). anna’s talk initiates a series of lectures being part of an exhibition on missionary hadfield, which will be inaugurated at the museum in 2013.
