Imp@ct Mining and the Arts
In the heat of rising Covid-19 infections allover Europe, Imp@ct Mining‘s final conference took place in beautiful Cornwall from March 9-12, 2020 with the finissage Of Earth – From Earth. Invited as a guest speaker, I presented my work on the arts’ potential in generating dialogue, interaction and change. My talk “The Arts – Embodying Dialogue for Socio-Ecological Transformation in Extractivism” tackles the need for participatory spaces in extractivism as goals for a new leadership paradigm leading to transparency, empathy and meaning!
